The new timed online auctions of Graphics and Multiples and Photography are active. Lots have delayed deadlines from March 11th to 14th
In the auction of Graphics and Multiples is proposed a varied selection of serigraphs, lithographs and multiples of different authors. Among them a group of graphics by Mario Schifano, such as the famous "Coca Cola" (estimated 500/700€) or the "Gigli d'acqua" (estimated 400/600€), but also the dry etching on paper signed by Agostino Bonalumi entitled "Rosso" from 1999 (estimated 900/1,200€), rather than the "Untitled" 1970 by Jannis Kounellis (estimated 1,600/2,200€). But also "The grooming of Narcissus" by Carlo Alfano (estimated 2,000/3,000€), of which there is a version of different specimen in the collection of MOMA, New York. Then there are the postcards of Chisto, a lithograph by Hermann Nitsch (estimated 600/800€), an etching of 1979 by Joseph Beuys (estimated 1,000/1,200€) and the group of 24 lithographs and 2 etchings by Max Ernst from "Jacques Prévert, Les Chiens ont soif, Au Pont Des Arts, Paris" of 1964 (estimated 2,600/2,800 €). Included in the auction also two graphics by Roberto Sebastian Matta (estimated each 200/300 €), 75 photolithographs by Edward Kienholz of 1974 entitled "The business sense" (estimated 3,500/4,500 €). But also the 1921 "Cadeau" (estimated 900/1.200€) and a very colorful 1971 lithograph (estimated 600/800€) by Man Ray.
In the Photography auction we point out among the most interesting lots: "The rest of the volcano" by Ettore Sottsass (estimated 2,700/3,200€), exhibited at the Capodimonte Museum in Naples in 2004, but also the "Housing Complex" by Giacomo Costa (estimated 2,000/2,500€) and Herb Ritts' 1989 silver salt gelatine printing (estimated 3,000/4,000€). Included in the auction is also "Michael Bergin and fan holding flag", colour photograph from 1995 by Wolfgang Tillmans (estimated 4.500/5.500€) and the C-print on metal plate by Anne Olofsson (estimated 2.400/2.800). But also "Spiral jetty" by Gianfranco Gorgoni (estimated 3,000/3,500€) and two works by Maurizio Galimberti, including a 2009 polaroid collage entitled "The gentle emotion of a face... Ethan Hawke" (estimated 1.000/1.500€). But also a 1997 color print on aluminum by Carlo Fei (estimated 800/1,200€) and two photon lumina print by Marcello Mortarotti (estimated 1,000/1,500€ and 600/800€).
All the lots entered are presented to the public with a comprehensive description, detailed pictures, an indication of the estimate and the expiry of each lot.
