Inside frame in gilded bronze with two coats of arms of Cardinal Antonio Codronchi (1748-1826), Archbishop of Ravenna and powerful man of the Church in the service of Napoleon Bonaparte.
He was among the leading figures of the Napoleonic era, a supporter of pro-French politics and appointed for this by Napoleon count, senator of the Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy, Great Almoner of the kingdom and Grand Dignitary of the Order of the Iron Crown.
In the center embossed silver bas-relief depicting the Immaculate with hallmarks of the Kingdom of Sardinia before 1824.
