The first discoveries of ancient Herculaneum and Pompeii gave rise to a strong interest and curiosity towards the classical world.
Among the first testimonies of the fervor derived from these recent discoveries is the successful production of the Giustiniani family, a true dynasty of ceramists, who found their greatest source of inspiration precisely in the Greco-Roman decorative sample found in nearby Pompeii and Herculaneum.
The object presented here is influenced by the ceramic production inspired by classical models both for the style and for the compositional techniques adopted.
