In 1771, Ferdinand IV, son of Charles, decided to establish a new factory for the production and decoration of porcelain, after the latter had moved the entire production of porcelain to Spain.
This change brought about a stylistic upheaval, characterized by a freshness and authenticity, such as the “Sèvres” motifs, which certainly also reflected the tastes of Queen Maria Carolina of Austria
