The artistic research of Lorenzo Scotto di Luzio (Pozzuoli, 1972) is immediately outlined as a transversal practice that uses different tools. In 1992 he founded Studio Aperto Multimediale, an independent space-laboratory in the historic center of Naples with colleagues Giulia Piscitelli and Pasquale Cassandro.

"We live in a society bombarded by images, and if one takes away what is from what he does, he realizes that reality is made of cold objects, ATM cards, supermarkets, shopping bags. We must therefore make an act of sincerity and let these things enter into our own poetic world".
