Mario Laboccetta is a Neapolitan artist who inextricably linked his name to the island of Capri. "Those who knew him remember him as a particular man, of great culture, kind and very discreet. A multifaceted artist capable of expressing a unique trait both in dreamlike paintings and erotic drawings. Those who don't know him, however, can "meet" him in the Funicular room". In fact, it was from one of his drawings that the ceramic panel representing the allegory of Capri's history was created.
