For over 30 years, Lello Esposito has focused his research on the relationship between contemporary art and tradition, through the reflection and artistic reworking of the symbols of Neapolitan culture such as Pulcinella, the Mask the Egg, the Skull, Vulcano San Gennaro and Corno in their various and possible declinations and metamorphoses. Known internationally for his ability to work on the archetypes, symbols, the cultural imagination of the city of Naples, Lello Esposito likes to call himself "cult artist" in relation to his personal research and experimentation that over time has allowed him to contribute significantly to the creation of new forms of interpretation and representative of traditional Neapolitan icons.
