Marisa Albanese, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. His poetry is substantiated by nodal themes of modernity such as intellectual freedom, the complex relationships between man and places, gender and ethnic discrimination. Through installations, sculptures and videos and using different materials that prefer the colors of materials and techniques such as lost wax casting, the artist builds an ethical and aesthetic discourse committed to dismantling racisms and prejudices, with a careful look at the other and the social dimension of the geographical space.
"Sentieri di mani" is a book dedicated to the graphic aspect of Marisa Albanese's design research. The artist's project is part of the path started several years ago by the "Singular Female Graphics" museum which aims to dedicate space to an "other" vision of contemporary graphics designed by women.
